Hopkins Evening Lions

The Hopkins (evening) Lion’s Club held their Spring Picnic on Tuesday, June 1^st. New officers were installed and members recognized for their service to the club. Delores Arlt was presented The Melvin Jones Fellowship. The MJF is the Lion’s Club International Foundation’s highest honor recognizing a person’s commitment to humanitarian service. Reid Burns and Monica Sage each received the prestigious Helen Keller Award. This award honors persons who care for and respond to the needs of others. Reid has been a member of the Lion’s club for more than 50 years serving in every possible capacity.
